First, I would like to tell you about myself as the author of this book. Ever since I was a child, I have had the habit of wondering about everything and thinking about it. However, I didn't tell anyone about it. Even if I talked to them, they couldn't understand it, and the punch line was that I was ignored and made fun of. Then, from a certain point on, I became a self-proclaimed “philosopher boy”. What does this “philosophy” mean? It means asking questions, thinking about them carefully, and remaining curious. In other words, the meaning of this is “questioning + thinking + curiosity”. I am not a boy who studies and memorizes the philosophical principles of famous philosophers.

In other words, the meaning of this philosophy is “questioning + thinking + curiosity”. I was not a boy who studied and memorized the theories of famous philosophers. What I thought was important was deepen my imagination, judgment, insight, and having my own logical opinion. Since I was a child, my life has been “questions + thinking + curiosity + opinion”. It has become the basics of my life.

I'm not a boy who studies and memorizes the theories of famous philosophers. I was not a high-achieving child. If anything, I was the kind of child who always seemed absent-minded and retarded. However, in this Preface, I would like to introduce 7 episodes that shocked me. I can say that they have determined my life. I think this book series will touch on these topic many times. Because it's extremely important to me. The underline part of this “Prescription” is the place it.

By the way, I believe that “philosophy is about doubting” and “religion is about believing”. I believe that ”learning means creating a foundation for thinking on my own”. This is because I was educated during the time when the country was occupied by the American Occupation Forces, and my distrust grew as I thought, “This is hypocrisy!” and “This is brainwashing!” However, as an primary school student, I did not know the terms “hypocrisy” and “brainwashing”. So, I had a dissatisfied look on my face. That's why my homeroom teacher didn't have a good impression of me. At that time, I had not yet acquired the “weapon of words”.

And there was an opportunity that made me start to have doubts about various things. This is a conversation with my father. The premise is that it takes time for light to reach the earth from a star. That means it takes time for light to reach us. My father said. “The speed of light travels around the Earth seven and a half times in one second.” “The light that reaches us from each star takes millions of light years.” In other words, the light from the stars in the night sky that I see is from millions light years ago. Therefore, the stars in the constellation are spreading out and moving, so they may not be where I can see them now, or they may have disappeared.

In other words, I am looking at the past while looking up at the night sky. And that was when I was in the first grade of primary school. I thought. Mr. A, who is sitting next to me, and Mr. B, who is sitting by the window, are at different distances from me. Then, figuratively speaking, “Mr. A is Mr. A one second ago, and Mr. B is Mr. B two seconds ago. I can see these two past scene at the same time. I am watching two separate pasts at the same time.1” This was a startling reality. I only told my father about it. My father said, “Yes!” However, the look in my father's eyes was saying silently, “It's best not to talk about this to anyone else”.
